If you have accidentally added the wrong file to a presentation, you might want to remove it. We will go through three different ways of removing a file from a presentation.
Method 1: Finding file by filename
If you still remember the filename or if the file was added recently it is very easy to remove.
- Click on “Files” in the menu and then on “Files”.
- Find the file in the list.
- Click on the trash can icon on the right and confirm that you want to remove the file.
You have just removed a file from a presentation.
Method 2: Finding file by speaker
If you remember the speaker of the presentation to which the file was added, we can find the file that way.
- Look for the searchbox on the menubar
- Type part of the name of the person and click when you have found the correct one.
- In the right column, find the file you wish to delete.
- Click the gear symbol on the right side.
- In the popup window click on “Delete”.
You have just removed a file from a presentation.
Method 3: Finding file from presentation
If you don’t remember the file name or the speaker, the easiest way is to find the presentation to which the file was added.
- Go to the timetable on the home page.
- Find the session where the presentation is in and click on it. A popup will appear.
- Find the presentation and click on the name.
- In the column “View” there is an icon that looks like multiple pages. Click on that.
- The list here is an overview of all files added to that presentation. Find the correct one.
- Click on the trash can icon on the right and confirm that you want to remove the file.
